6. I have heard that dichloroacetate has been used for cancer treatment.?

Some research studies on the use of dichloroacetate as an anti-cancer agent have been performed.  At this time, no dichloroacetate compound or product has been approved for use as an anti-cancer drug.  The common salts of dichloroacetate are sodium and potassium and are what have been used in the research studies.  The Pharma-DCA's  product Sodium Dichloroacetate, is offered for laboratory or research use only .
